Copper ionization is a water disinfection process that uses ionized copper to deactivate and eliminate waterborne pathogens in water systems. Copper ions provide a residual disinfectant to the water which continues to interact with and pathogens in the bio-film as water circulates through pipes, vessels, tanks and other components of the irrigation or process system.
